10 Celebrities who look stunning in ethnic wear

How easy and how hard it is to wear our traditional Indian clothes and still carry it like it is the most casual thing in the world. But our Indian clothes can rock with the casual look too, so here are our very own 10 celebrities who rock our cultural attire into the sportiest look:-

1. Ranveer Singh:
Talk about fashion and not talk about Ranveer Singh? This guy has created his own niche in Bollywood because of his eccentric dressing styles (coz of acting too, of course, but style!) The coat above the dhoti by Arjun Saluja stole the show in the Dubai International Film Festival last December, and we cannot get over how casually Ranveer carries whatever he wears.

2. Sonam Kapoor:

Remember the time when Sonam Kapoor broke the Internet with her denim-saree picture?
The fashionista wore the saree (with pockets, yes!) to Vikas Bahl’s party this January and naturally carried it off like a diva. With a belt to hold up the entire look- peculiarly different sarees are redefining themselves as the new casual cool.

3. Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar walked the ramp of Mijwan Fashion Show for Manish Malhotra in a royal, navy blue coat suited over a white kurta. The Khiladi looked sharp and stylish in ethnic while still maintaining his casual air. A rarity, I tell you.

4. Deepika Padukone

The award-winning actress donned a pink elbow-sleeved blouse with a floral printed white saree for an award show and looked absolutely stunning, as always. With hardly any accessories except a round earring and hairstyle to complement her ethnic look, Deepika won both awards and hearts on the show.

5. Riteish Deshmukh

Dashing and stylish in his own way, Riteish Deshmukh rocked the simple traditional wear with an absolute ease. A silver-patterned coat over a black kurta, talk about ethnic seamlessly mixing with effortless casual wear.

6. Aditi Rao Hyadri:

Looking like the princess that she is, the actress looked gorgeous in the elegant floor-length white gown by Mohey. With gold designs on the stunning white and (ear)rings to match the look, the opening of the Lucknow store saw Aditi looking both glamourously simple, and simply glamourous.

7. Shah Rukh Khan:

Even if he is the Bollywood’s Badshah, it has been widely well-known that the King Khan likes to keep it simple. Even when walking the ramp, Shah Rukh Khan wore an elegant Sherwani with a patiala and kept it as casual as it goes, matching the royal blue with his royal vibe, making the ramp his home.

8. Parineeti Chopra

A maroon Lahenga and a dazzling golden top with just a blue ring and earring as accessories, Parineeti Chopra carried off the trendy traditional look with absolute ease. The modern-desi look exuded the confidence of casualness- both rocking the style and keeping it simple in its essence.

9. Alia Bhatt:

Probably the most elegant saree worn on the red carpet, Zee Cine Awards 2017 saw Alia don a salmon coloured saree with a golden boundary and look charming as ever.  Simple, traditional attire on a red carpet is fast becoming a trendy take on both glamour and casual wear.

10. Virat Kohli:

Kohli looks both flamboyant and modest in a Manyavar sherwani. Charming, cool and Casual, the Cricket Captain of India can carry off the ethnic look as naturally as he can hit boundaries.
